| Admittance to a better life, a passage which empowers the audience with quotes. A quote I felt was up lifting was “ I believe that education has the power to transform a person’s life for me, education was the rabbit hole which I escaped the underclass”. I felt this quote was uplifting, because it spoke upon facts. Without an education and the ability of learning you will not be able to achieve many goals you may have set for yourself. I feel that education can be a way out for many people. An education can provide the opportunity to open many doors therefore; education goes beyond a high school diploma. Receiving a degree, being able to be in a field that you are interested in, shows the dedication put forth to make your aspiration and dream come true. My goal is to become a registered nurse. I am interested in becoming a RN, because I feel this field would satisfy humanity and bring self satisfaction. The passion to help my community and families is my biggest motivation. In conclusion, the passage “ admittance to a better life” is a simple story which allows the audience to understand how to be strong minded and focused on what achievements and goals they have set. Providing empowering phrases and quotes to help the audience realize all things are possible. |

Admittance to a Better Life
Creative Solutions to Life's Challenges
“I believe that happy children are those given the freedom to be expressive, to discover, to create their own ”refrigerators door” masterpiece. . When you are young you are able to create your personality. Your dislikes, likes. Creating your own personality at such a young age can help you discover you inner self as you grow older. I believe that this statement is true, I say this because as a child I always had a smile on my face, and I was always happy. I would express myself without being judged. Discovering new things such as hobbies.
“ I believe that the highest quality of life is full of art and creative expression and that all people deserve it”. I agree with this quote, because life is what you make it. People create a lifestyle that can be full of arts and creativity. This quote symbolizes the way many may think of life. Life is an expression of art, creativity, knowledge, power, money, but ends with your point of view of self.

America's Humanity
“Actions is what separates a belief from an opinion, beliefs are imprinted through actions.” I believe this quote speaks upon religion. You can say you are a true “Christian,” however your actions may speak otherwise, therefore that may intervene with ones opinion about the culture of that religion. Actions speak louder than words. Yes as Americans we have rights, such as freedom of speech, and freedom of religion which gives us an opportunity to be a part of any culture we choose. I liked how the passage provides the audience with real life situation also, how the situation was handled. He provides the audience with quotes, facts, and stories which can help those who are unable to stand up for themselves.
“ I believe America is humanity’s best opportunity to Make God’s wish that we come to know one another in a reality”. This quote was stunning, and I admire the passage. I feel this passage provides the audience with a future of knowing that America has a brighter day and God, will provide his people with the reality of accepting one another regardless of religion, race or color.

Defined By Actions or Features?
In today’s society “why don’t you act black”? or “ you act so black”, means you’ve adapted to the culture and lifestyle. If I was told this question I would want to define what acting black was. I would wonder why I am being thrown into a stereotype. I say thrown into a stereotype, because many would consider an African Americans to be loud, criminals, and ghetto. This question causes a tremendous impact on me, because I believe it is degrading not only to myself, but my culture. Not all African Americans are loud, criminals and the phrase “ghetto”. Stereotypes comes from a person or people seeing or hearing about a group of people who may have been doing absurd things which may cause their culture to be labeled and judged.
America's Beauty
America’s Beauty Is In Its Diversity by Alaa El-Saad. A beautiful piece which helps the audience realize that being different is an amazing thing. This article helped me reflect on my life, throughout my years as a high school student. I remember dressing and acting differently . In high school everyone tried to fit into the fashion statement of that month. Once a new item came into stores, the clothing that was worn was no longer “in style”. I continued to wear previous items in the fashion statement, that may perhaps” went out of style”. Thinking to myself I purchased it, so why not continue to wear it?
I made a connection to the article immediately, because I love showing others that you can have confidence even when you are considered an “outsider”. One who doesn’t dress or look quite the same as others. Alaa El Saad explained that many questioned her politely about her Hijab, and many giggled, because she looked different. She didn’t mind it. I believe once you have confidence within yourself what others say about you cant define who you are, because you have the mind set and confidence to know what you are.
I believe this article can, help many of our Americans today who dislike themselves, because what others say about them. This article shows how to put forth confident in your everyday regardless of what others may say. Learning how to respect and receive confidence within your self can help you. Learning that people look different than you an act differently makes the world diverse and its finest.
